Wheelchair Bearings

Bearings are often found in 3 spots on most wheelchairs. They are found in the caster wheel, the fork stem of the caster wheel, and the rear wheel. Freeway Bearings provides bearings for all of the aforementioned sections, and are used by most major wheelchair manufacturers. Below is a list of what bearing models are used for each application, and some of the specific wheelchair models that they fit. Below the list is where you can purchase the bearings directly off of our website.  

Caster Fork Stem Bearings:

  • ASF 132-1 (1 1/8" x 1/2")
  • PA 641-4  (1 1/8 x 1/2")

Fits: Invacare Tracer Series, IV, 9000, EX2, Patriot, Recliners

Caster Wheel Bearings:

  • ASF 175-4 (29/32" x 7/16")
  • ASF 175-2 (29/32" x 5/16")
  • PA 883-2 (29/32" x 7/16") 
  • PA 715-3 (29/32" x 5/16") 

Fits: Most Invacare, Theradyne and other branded wheelchairs 

Rear Wheel Flanged Bearings: 

  • ASF 107-3 (1 3/8" x 1/2") 
  • PA 652-2 (1 3/8" x 1/2") 
  • ASF 107-2 (1 3/8" x 7/16") fits the Invacare E100 
  • PA 652-3 (1 3/8" x 7/16") fits the Invacare E100
  • ASFO- 108-6 (1 3/8" x 3/4") 

Fits: Most Invacare, Theradyne and other branded wheelchairs
